Welcome to our July 2023 WWWednesday!

How has your month been? What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!

What is WWW Wednesday?

WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!

So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!

WWWednesday #49

What are you currently reading?

Edit: the book is out now so I can share 😀

Today I began an ARC from one of my favorites, Brittany Fichter, the first book in her new series, the Rose of Destiny is called Rose of the Fae. And ISN’T THE COVER GORGEOUS?!

Thoughts: I’m only a few chapters in, but I’m intrigued by the ARC. It’s a super long one, which is always fun! And I’m excited to pick up the Dangerous Wish novella because I loved the first one, The White Slipper.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished Inception of a Brigade by J.M. MacLeod, the first book in his Singing Sword Saga, this morning. But since I linked to that one last month (it’s been a slow reading month, y’all), here’s the book I finished before that one: Pippa of Lauramore by Shari L. Tapscott.

Thoughts: I haven’t written the review for Pippa yet, but I loved it! I can’t believe I let it sit on my shelf for so many years! I’m excited to finish the series. And The Singing Sword series holds such a special place in my heart. It’s been a joy to reread and I’m also looking forward to reading the others again since I’ve never read them all close together!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next, I’d really like to read Recorder by Cathy McCrumb.

Thoughts: I’ve heard such incredible things about this one! And I met the author a few weeks ago at Realm Makers. She was so sweet! We bonded over our mutual love of The Iron Giant, so now I must read this series!

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!

Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!

Until next time!
