You are loved. You are beautiful. You are forgiven.
You are cherished. You are woven. You are known. You are held. You are guided. You are provided for. You are chosen. You are cared for. You are watched. You are created. You are treasured. You are healed. You are worthy. You are redeemed. You are special. You are unique. You are individual. You are precious. You are seen. You are valuable. You are priceless. You are one of a kind. You are bought. You are safe. You are washed. You are protected. You are bathed in light. You are clothed in righteousness. You are gorgeous. You are sought after. You are beloved. You are free. You belong. You are a part. You are whole. You are accepted. You are fixed. You are shaped. You are molded. You are nudged. You are strengthened. You are victorious. You are remembered. You are claimed.
You are not alone. You are not too far gone. You are not too damaged. You are not hopeless. You are not unreachable. You are not unremarkable. You are not unredeemable. You are not too filthy. You are not worthless. You are not unworthy. You are not reprehensible. You are not repulsive. You are not a disgrace. You are not foul or tormented. You are not controlled. You are not forgotten. You are not despised or despicable.
You are a child of God. And no one can take that from you.
Not your mother. Not your father. Not your brother. Not your sister. Not your son. Not your daughter. Not your husband. Not your wife. Not your grandmother. Not your grandfather. Not your great aunt or uncle. Not your cousins. Not your aunt. Not your uncle. Not your friend. Not your best friend. Not your niece. Not your nephew. Not your boss. Not your employee. Not your employer. Not your co-worker. Not your boyfriend. Not your girlfriend. Not your ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend, ex-husband or ex-wife. Not your step-mother or step-father. Not your step-brother or step-sister. Not your classmate. Not your teacher. Not your mentor. Not your chess buddy or your roommate. Not your coach. Not your teammates. Not your brother’s fiance or your best friend’s mother. Not your babysitter. Not the man who cuts you off in traffic. Not the woman who smiles across the building at you. Not the random stranger you pass in the halls or on the streets. Not the cab driver. Not the banker. Not the concession stand worker. Not the waitress. Not the cook. Not the president. Not the senate. Not the governor. Not your state representative. Not the monster under your bed or in your closet.
No one can take that from you. NO ONE. YOU can’t take that from you.
You are a child of the one, true God and He holds more joy, compassion, and love for you than anyone else in the entire universe. Bask in His love for you. He sees you in the only light that is worth being seen in. He is the only One who can tell you who you are and what you are meant to be. He is the only One who knows you inside and out. He’s the only One who sees you for who you truly are. And you are so much more than you believe. His heart overflows with joy, pure joy, when He sees you.
Can you imagine it? Can you hear it? That deep, rumbling laughter that bubbles up inside of the greatest being there is? He dances over you! His eyes sparkle with the twinkle of the stars and they crinkle at the sides with the width of His grin. You take His breath away! You fill His chest with an emotion that we can’t even name! He has SOOO much love for you, His beloved child. No one can take your place in His heart!
You cannot run far enough away. You cannot burrow deep enough to hide. You cannot do or say anything so wrong that you cannot be brought back into His grace. You cannot not be reached! God offers you His own hand! He offers you His own blood. He offers you an eternity of peace, of genuine, true joy. He offers you a place where kindness reigns and patience permeates, a place that is good and where gentleness and goodness radiate. He offers a place where people love each other and live as we were meant to live, in light, and without pain, sorrow, and corruption.
You do have to accept this gift, though. You cannot reject it. You cannot risk it. It is freely offered, but should you choose not to accept it, you aren’t guaranteed this blissful eternity. You will live eternally. But how will you live that eternity?
I want you to know how completely, and utterly amazing you are. I want you to see past the shiny or dingy outside and know how profusely God loves you. I want you to let the fear, the insecurity, the doubt, the hate roll off of you today. I want you to look those vile thoughts in the face and shout out against the downright mean words of the people in your life, whether they meant them or not. I want you to step out into the light and declare your freedom from that crushing self-image!! From the responsibility and the weight of the opinions of others! I want you to KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that somewhere out there someone sees you for the truly beautiful and precious person that you are, flaws and all. I want you to know that somewhere out there someone loves you more than life itself. I want you to know that you are here for a reason. I want you to never again doubt your worth!
I don’t ever want you to give up hope. I don’t ever want you to feel so alone that you wonder what it’s all for. I don’t ever want you to let those voices control you again. Don’t let them sway your view of who you are. Don’t let them antagonize you any more. Don’t listen to the lies.
I want you to know that no matter what, you are loved. You are beautiful. And you are forgiven.
Love ALWAYS,
Coralie

Beautiful Coralie!! 🤗
*sobs* this is amazing! I think it really speaks to the heart! A lot of people feel like they have messed up too much and that they are only the things that they have done. Amazing truths written here!
