Welcome to the November WWWednesday!

And we’re finally back on our normal posting schedule! Haha! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the United States, so I wish you all a very wonderful time of laughter and bounty with your loved ones <3

As for reading, I did manage to get through a handful of books this month – yay! This quarter is always the busiest, but I am thankful for good work to do and for good stories when I am able to prioritize reading. I read a couple of classics and a couple of epic fantasies!

How about you? How was your month? I’d love to know what you’ve read lately! If there was something particularly good or a book you’re excited about, I’d love to hear about it! Leave a comment below to let me know what you’re reading this month!

If you’re new to WWWednesdays, you can learn more about how it works here!

What are you Currently Reading?

I’ve just begun William Golding’s Lord of the Flies.

Lord of the Flies by William Golding - Reading

I don’t know very much about this book except that everyone’s reaction is always *wince* “Ohhhh” when I say I’ve finally started reading it. I’m only a chapter in, but I’m definitely waiting for things to go crazy fast.

Right now all I know is that some boys have crash landed on a beach. That’s it!

What did you recently Finish Reading?

I just finished reading Of Sea and Smoke by Gillian Bronte Adams.

Ahhh! It was so good! From the worldbuilding to the characters to the page-turning plot and the beautiful themes, I am just in love with this series. And this sequel was perfect! I’m dying to get my hands on the third one!

Stay tuned for the full review coming soon!

What do you think you’ll read next?

As per usual, there are several books I’d like to read next (Of Dawn and Embers and The Restitching of Camille DuLaine to name the top two!), but a new impulse read that is in line to read once I can get my hands on it is At the Edge of Lost by Martha Brockenbrough.

This is actually a book one of my younger brothers picked up recently. He’s not much of a reader usually, but this one caught his eye for some reason, so I told him I’d buddy read it with him. Now, just to get my hands on a copy!

Favorite Read of the Month

Gillian has me in the palm of her hand with this series!

Of Sea and Smoke by Gillian Bronte Adams - Reading

This is really a tie between the first one I reread and the second one, but since Of Sea and Smoke was a first time read, I’m going with it. Also, it was EPIC!

And that it for this WWWednesday!

Have you read any of the these books? I’d love to hear what books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading!

Until next time! Happy reading, friends!
