And so March comes to an end! We’re already a quarter of the way into 2025!

Is anyone surprised at how the time goes anymore?

But I got some good reading in this month! And a nice variety, too. I bounced between some great nonfiction, a childhood favorite, and a handful of really good new reads, too.

I’m starting to get back into the routine of posting on the blog, so there should be more consistency with the book reviews for a little while!

How about you? How was your month? I’d love to know what you’ve read lately! If there was something particularly good or a book you’re excited about, I’d love to hear about it! Leave a comment below to let me know what you’re reading this month!

If you’re new to WWWednesdays, you can learn more about how it works here!

What are you Currently Reading?

I’m really excited to finish the Nightingale trilogy by J. J. Fischer with Memoria!

Memoria by J. J. Fischer - Reading

I only just started this one, so I’m only like a chapter in, but I have loved this trilogy so far. I’ll be posting full reviews of the series here on the blog in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out. Book two set us up for some epic untangling of the plot threads – I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!

What did you recently Finish Reading?

The last book I finished was The Boxcar Children by Gertrude Chandler Warner, the first book in the beloved series.

I adored these books as a kid and I’ve been hoping to reread a few for a while now. I found a full production audiobook that was short and sweet. I’ve read this one several times and remembered it quite well. It was a delightful dive down memory lane, and I hope to read some of the others! (Perhaps I won’t remember them as well!)

What do you think you’ll read next?

There are so many on my TBR, but Wings of Starlight by Allison Saft is a new release I’m excited about!

Y’all know I love my Disney Fairies! I have my doubts anyone could do it as well as Gail Carson Levine who basically invented and built Pixie Hollow, but I still hope this turns out to be a good read – we’ll see!

Favorite Read of the Month

Though there are technically still a few days left in the month, this has been my favorite read of the month so far! Lumen by J. J. Fischer, the second book in the Nightingale Trilogy.

Lumen by J. J. Fischer - Reading

Again, I’ve just loved this series so far. I devoured Lumen. Also, isn’t this cover so good!? I love the whole series, but green is my favorite color. I loved how this sequel really tangled everything up and thickened the plot substantially from the first. It left me wondering where on earth Fischer would take us in Memoria. I guess I’ll have to find out!

And that it for this WWWednesday!

Have you read any of the these books? I’d love to hear what books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading!

Until next time! Happy reading, friends!
