Our final WWWednesday of the year! I know it’s not the last Wednesday of the month – as usual – but this year that day is Christmas! So, we’re just gonna do it a week early 😉 (I’ll also be posting my 2024 Reading Recap a week early, too – tomorrow!)

What are you currently reading?
I’m currently buddy reading Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park with my bestie, Cassie!
Austen is classic and I’m tackling one of her books a year til I get through all of them. This was Cassie’s pick this year, so we’re diving in!
This one’s been a little slow going for me. Though I love Austen’s writing, this isn’t my favorite of the books of hers I’ve read so far – but I still have the rest of the book to go, so we’ll see what happens!
What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished was Margaret Peterson Haddix’s Among the Free, the final book in her Shadow Children series!
I finally finished the reread of this series! Hitting one of my rereading goals for the year! I love this series and I’ve been so glad to pick it up again this year. The audiobooks have been a good experience and while it’s sad to see it end, I can always reread them again!
What do you think you’ll read next?
Next I plan to reread Lodestar, the fourth book in Shannon Messenger’s Keeper of the Lost Cities series!
Can you tell I’m cramming to hit my rereading goals for the year?
I just finished rereading Neverseen, so I’d still like to get through Lodestar and Nightfall by the end of the year if I can. I really, really enjoy this series. It’s fantastic and I’m excited to finally read the rest of the books!
