Welcome to our November 2024 WWWednesday!
Happiest of Thanksgivings to my American friends (and to those who aren’t, may you find something to be thankful for, spend time with those you love, and eat good food today)! I hope you all have time to rest and do something you enjoy with friends and family this season (especially as we go toward Christmas!).
As for reading, it’s been another busy work reading season, but I got a few good reads in this month!
How about you? What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!
What is WWW Wednesday?
WWW Wednesday was originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Here on GraceBought, we do these as a monthly reading review. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!
So, without further ado, here is WWWednesday!
WWWednesday #65
What are you currently reading?
I’m continuing my reread of Margaret Peterson Haddix’s Shadow Children series with Among the Enemy.

As you probably know by now, I adore this series. I’m about halfway through rereading this book (the second to last in the series) and so very greatly enjoying it! I forgot that it was from the POV of a different character, so it’s been fun to get inside his head again!
What did you recently finish reading?
I’ve been trying to catch up on my slightly neglected nonfiction reading, so I just finished Rhinoceros Success by Scott Alexander.

A quick, quirky little read, but one that’s motivational and fun. This could be an easy one to reread in the future, too.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Next I plan to read another Jane Austen book. This year I’ll be buddy reading, Mansfield Park.

Continuing through my goal to read all of Austen’s books has been a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to this one!

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWWednesday! Let me know what you think below!
Have you read any of the books above? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!
Happy Thanksgiving! I’m thankful for you <3
Until next time! Happy reading, friends!
P.S. Stay tuned next month for the final WWW of the year, the 2024 Reading Recap, and a major GraceBought update!

Currently reading Giving Thanks and Letting Go by Danielle Bean. Danielle is a fellow Catholic homeschool mom who I found very helpful when I was a newer homeschooler. This book is about the process of empty-nesting, and I’m loving it. It’s a tough time for parents, and the experience, strength, and hope she shares is much appreciated.
Recently finished The Saint Monica Club by Maggie Green. It’s about praying for your children’s and other loved one’s faiths as they grow and make their own choices.
Up next is The Madstone by Elizabeth Crook. I’ve started it, and it’s a very interesting, unique (fictitious) story about frontier people fleeing across Texas from outlaws.
As always, thanks for hosting this conversation every month!
Ooh, a title like Giving Thanks and Letting Go sounds like one worth picking up! I’m so glad you can find supportive works like that – we all need a little encouragement sometimes!
I love the sentiment to pray for the faith of our loved ones! May they be strengthened and turn to Christ in times of trials <3
Ah! The Madstone one sounds like it may be a thrilling read!
Thanks so much for participating! I love seeing what you're reading each month!
