Welcome to our June 2022 WWWednesday!

This month has been fun! I spent most of June with my grandparents, semi-on vacation. I spent a few days at the beach, which I live for every year. And, of course, I got some good reading in while sitting by the pool for a few hours.

How has your month been? What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!

What is WWW Wednesday?

WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!

So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!

WWWednesday #36

What are you currently reading?

I’m between books as I catch up on work and the few book reviews I’m behind on XD But since I recently finished Wishtress by Nadine, I’m thinking it’s time to start A Time to Speak, the second book in her Out of Time trilogy.

Thoughts: Honestly, Nadine WRECKS me emotionally. She does NOT pull punches. Wistress was so good. But I’m a little scared to read A Time to SpeakA Time to Die was my first Nadine novel and it taught me not to trust her XD She will go to almost any lengths in a book. And that raises the stakes. But I think I’m ready to dive back into the world and see how this story continues.

What did you recently finish reading?

The last book I read was Ember Rising, the third book in the Green Ember series by S. D. Smith

Thoughts: I’m actually really enjoying this series. I placed a hold on the final book, so I’m excited to see how the story ends. I’m kind of sad I hadn’t heard of these books sooner. I still need to compile my full review on this one, but I can say that I love the themes so much.

What do you think you’ll read next?

After A Time to Speak, I was thinking about finishing up the Villain’s Ever After novellas since I’m about halfway through those. Hansel and the Gingerbread Queen by Lea Doue would be the next one on my list.

Thoughts: Hansel and Gretel is actually one of my least favorite fairy tales. I’ve never loved it. But the premise of this one sounds interesting and I have read at least one retelling mash up that I liked. And I do like Lea Doue’s other dragon series so far, so I’m hoping this one will be a good one, too.

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!

Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!

Until next time!
