Welcome to the first WWWednesday of 2022!
It’s a new year, which means, fresh, new reading goals! You can see more about my reading goals on my 2022 New Year, New Goals post.
What about you? Have you set any reading goals this year? Can you believe it’s already the end of January? I feel like this happens every year XD But it’s been a good reading month! A great start to the new year.
What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!
What is WWW Wednesday?
WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!
So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!
WWWednesday #31
What are you currently reading?
I just started Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling yesterday.
Thoughts: As many of you know, I’m reading this series for the first time, so I’m finally getting close to the end. And interestingly, I’m finally getting excited for the first time in the series. It’s been an okay journey so far, good even. But not my favorite. But when I got the loan from the library for this one, I was genuinely excited! I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here!
What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished was The Horse and His Boy by Lewis.
Thoughts: This has historically not been my favorite in the series. (Fun fact, The Silver Chair is my least favorite, by far XD) However, I enjoyed reading it more this time than I ever have before! So, that was a real treat.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I started K. M. Weiland’s Creating Character Arcs last year, but set it down when things got a little busy so I’d love to go back to that and actually finish the last third of the book.
Thoughts: Like I said, I started this last year, and honestly, I loved it. Weiland is a fantastic teacher and this book has really helped me grow in my understanding of characters. I’m definitely looking forward to finishing the rest of it.

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!
Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!
Until next time!
All great books! (But why weren’t you enthused with The Horse and His Boy?)
