Welcome to the November 2020 WWWednesday!

Wow. November flew by. Dang!

What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!

What is WWW Wednesday?

WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!

So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!

WWWednesday #17

What are you currently reading?

So, since life got busy again, I started another audio book, The Green Ember by S.D. Smith.

Thoughts: So, I’ve heard about this book for a while now and saw it in my library of auido books and thought I’d give it a shot. So far, it’s been super cute and pretty thrilling! I’m excited to see where it goes!

What did you recently finish reading?

Unfortunately, reading has been scarce lately. I feel like I’ve hardly read anything this year–and even less of what I’d planned to read. I’ve also read a bunch of children’s books this year, between babysitting for a few families and going through the church children’s book section for work. So, this isn’t exactly the last book I read, but it’s new to me and one I read recently that stuck out to me: The Tale of the Three Trees by Angela Elwell Hunt

Thoughts: So, I hadn’t actually ever heard this tale before, but while reading this very simple little story, I found myself near tears. It was a sweet little story, and though not totally unpredictable, it was powerful and touching. This is one I’d like to add to my shelf.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Not that I’ve actually been sticking with my intended next reads–literally all year–but, I thought when I finished my current audiobook, I’d listen to one of my favorites, The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen, in an effort to “reread” the trilogy and then read the fourth book, which just came out.

Thoughts: I honestly wish I’d found this trilogy sooner. It is one of my favorite series. And Sage is a character I strive to immulate in my own writing. The plot, the twists, the suspense, the characters, the world. All. Of. It. You can see my thoughts in my review here, but the short version is: GO READ IT!

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!

We’re winding down for the year! I’d love to hear how you’re coming on your reading goals!

Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!

Until next time!
