Welcome to the October 2020 WWWednesday!
I know! I know! I’m a week late! *hides* I’m sorry! I totally spaced out last week! It was a busy week with work and family stuff and I just forgot to work this up, but, hey, you’ll get two this month 😉
What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!
What is WWW Wednesday?
WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!
So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!
WWWednesday #16
What are you currently reading?
I’m currently beta reading Shadow by Kara Swanson, the sequel to her recently released Peter Pan sequel Dust.
Thoughts: Dust was phenomenal. (See my review here!) And I’m about 25% through Shadow. I think I’d have died if I had to wait until next year to read the conclusion. I’m stoked to be in the middle of this!
What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I read was Amie’s beautiful compilation of meaningful poetry Fifteen.
Thoughts: This was absolutely worth every penny! It was such a touching, beautifully written and formatted little book. You can find my full thoughts here!
What do you think you’ll read next?
Hmm…well, I bought several new books in October XD Not that I’ll have time to read them all immediately. But my author group is doing a study on The Penderwicks on Gardam Street by Jeanne Birdsall.
Thoughts: I’m not actually sure how to feel about this one. I need to make time to catch up on the book study, since I’m two weeks behind *sigh* And I don’t like reading books out of sequence. This is the second book in the series. But the book study group says it’s good and I did buy it to participate, soo…we’ll see how this one goes.
~~~
Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!
Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!
Until next time!
