Welcome to the September 2020 WWWednesday!
Well as predicted, September was a bit insane for me. I’m working ridiculous hours, but halfway through next month, things should settle back into normal hours! How was your month?
What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!
What is WWW Wednesday?
WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!
So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!
WWWednesday #11
What are you currently reading?
I’m finishing up the book study I shared about last month. This is actually our last week! So, I am still currently rereading The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis and simultaneously reading Devin Brown’s Inside Narnia: A Guide to Exploring The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Thoughts: Honest to goodness, this guide has been amazing. I’ve really loved it. It’s brought to life so many things and made connections I never even thought to consider before. And, as always, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is simply classic. <3
What did you recently finish reading?
So, again, aside from the tons of children’s books I’ve been reading to these kiddos XD (and aside from the book study above), I’ve only read one novella this month. Love Lifted Me by Faith Blum.
Thoughts: This was my first read by Faith Blum, and it was really sweet. I thought she seamlessly melded the Cinderella story with the Song of Songs. Check out the full review, up on Monday!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve graciously been given an ARC for Brittany Fichter’s Breaking Neverland, so I need to get on that! I’m hoping to chip away at it during the next two weeks, but I also don’t know that I’ll do much of anything other than eat, sleep, and work until the middle of October.
Thoughts: Hehe, I actually beta read this one, but I’m dying to read the final version! This is the sequel to Fichter’s Neverland Falling, which was such a fun Peter Pan retelling!
~~~
Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!
Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!
Until next time!
I am currently reading “Swords Of The Six” by Scott Appleton. I’ve only read a little of it so far but I’m excited to see how it’s going to turn out. It’s a book about dragons and so it’s bound to be pretty amazing. I recently finished “Forsaken Island” by Sharon Hinck the second book in the dancing realms series. Let me just say it is one of my favorite books. I cried and laughed in this book the characters were real and so relatable. Best of all was the beautiful truth and wisdom that was weaved into this book. I would definitely recommend this to anyone it’s worth your time. I’ll probably read the next book in “The Sword Of The Dragon” series the one I’m currently reading. Well I guess that’s it for my WWW Wednesday. Thank you for doing this blog I enjoy reading your post and book reviews.
Ooh! I haven’t heard of those! I’ll have to look into them. I am all about dragons! And dancing realms just sounds cool! Aww 💖 thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment! It’s a joy to hear from you!!
