Welcome to the July 2020 WWWednesday!
Whew, guys, whew! What a month! So, since last month I read so little, I decided this month to try audio books and let me tell you! I have chugged through some stories that way!
What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!
What is WWW Wednesday?
WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!
So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!
WWWednesday #11
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading The Crown by Kiera Cass, the last book in her Selection series. I listened to The Heir audio book to reacquaint myself with the story and am finally (I’ve had this book on my shelf for years XD) reading the finale!
Thoughts: You know, the second time around, I think I read The Heir more objectively, but I still got sucked into the story. I really like how Eadlyn is growing as a character. I’m about halfway through The Crown and I’m starting to get a little nervous. How is all this going to end?!
What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished was the audio book for Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine. I was driving home from my trip to visit family out of state–a long drive, y’all! So, I listened to the end of The Maze Runner and then went straight to Ella Enchanted to power through the end of the drive.
Thoughts: Anyone who knows me knows this is one of my absolute favorite books of all time. I practically know the book by heart. Listening to the audio book was a treat, though I must say I think I prefer reading it myself.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Goodness. There are still bazillions of books. And it seems like they all need to be read next. I honestly haven’t thought about what I want to read after The Crown. I think…I’d like to read Ogre Enchanted, since Ella Enchanted is fresh in my brain and that’s one I’ve been dying to read for a year. But I may start a new audio book instead. We’ll see.
Thoughts: I waited until the paperback came out to buy the book, but I’ve been so busy I haven’t actually picked this one up yet. I’m super stoked for it and may just splurge over the weekend and spend a little time with this beauty!

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!
Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading?
Have you tried audio books? What are your thoughts on them? Personally, I prefer actual reading, but I am pleasantly surprised with how many of these I can go through instead of podcasts or listening to the radio!
Until next time!
