Behind the Blogger Book Tag
1. Why did you start blogging & why have you kept blogging?
Well, you can check out the Introduction cagegory if you’re new. The short of it is I wanted accountability in my writing. My desire is to write and blogging was one way to make sure I did just that with more consistency than before I began blogging.
I had just graduated college and had sort of starved my writing muscles for self-preservation through school. I decided I didn’t want to look up in five years and discover that I’d carelessly forgotten to bring writing back into my life or simply abandonded the notion, and so, GraceBought the blog was born. For the longer version, see Why Blog?
And, I’ve continued to blog because…hmm…well, I enjoy it. I like having a place to organize my thoughts and interact with encouraging people. It’s kind of like an online journal, plus book reviews! 😀
2. What is your favorite type of blog post to write?
Hmm…I’m not sure. I like Thoughts on Thursdays cause I try to keep them inspirational, but sometimes they’re difficult to actually sit down and write. Honestly, you know, I really enjoy the book review posts. I’m such a geek. XD I like the metholodical, specific outline they take, and I love sharing thoughts on books with others! I love gushing about my most recent read as well as my classic favorites. What’s super cool about book review posts, though, is that I can see what you guys think about the books you’ve read!
3. What are your top 3 favorite blog posts?
Oh, goodness! What a question! Um…uh…okay, let’s go with these:
4. What are some of your favorite things to do to relax?
Reading, clearly XD Reading is one of my very favorite things to do, and I find it provides a perfect escape.
I love storms. Storms, thunder, and rain relax me. I love just closing my eyes and listening to the storm rage outside. Standing on Nana’s porch and smelling the rain is also very relaxing.
Walking down the beach calms me in a way few other things can. I like to walk just before dark so that when I turn around to walk back, it’s dark. Feeling the sand under my feet, tasting the salt in the air, and hearing that soothing, repetitive roar of wave after wave…there’s no other feeling in all the world!
5. What are 3 of your favorite things?

6. What are your proudest blogging moments?
Well, we’re at 73 followers! That’s incredible! Next goal is 100!
Let’s see, and 118 posts (119 including this one) is awesome. It’s been almost a year and a half since I started the blog, so I’m proud of having made it a year! And I’m actually really proud of not only the number of posts, but also the content. I’m really enjoying this little blogging adventure!
7. What are your hobbies outside of blogging?
Oh, there are several! I’m actually relatively new to blogging, but outside of blogging, I love reading (shocker XD)! Other hobbies include writing, crafting, cooking, music, and traveling. 🙂
8. Describe your personality in 3 words:
Sassy, Introverted, Creative
(I’m totally stealing my sister’s response—asked her for help cause I needed a third word and she spits this geniusness out—cause it’s perfect!)

9. What are your top 3 pet peeves?
Dude, I’m OCD…there are a lot of things that bug me. Ima go with…Grammar…Mistreating books…and…Tardiness!
10. What’s something your followers don’t know about you?
Ummm…I’m not sure what all I’ve told y’all and what I haven’t XD Okay, I’m the oldest child of five. If you already knew that, sorry to disappoint. XD If you have any questions, comment and I’ll answer them!
