Welcome to our July 2024 WWWednesday!
Yay! Another month in the books! Man, this month definitely flew by. I had a fair bit of travel so I actually didn’t get a lot read. *hides* But that’s okay! I did what I could and I’m learning to have grace in funky seasons.
How about you? What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!
What is WWW Wednesday?
WWW Wednesday was originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Here on GraceBought, we’ve do these as a monthly reading review. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!
So, without further ado, here is WWWednesday!
WWWednesday #61
What are you currently reading?
I am currently listening to Christopher Paolini’s Murtagh!
I’ve been a fan of Eragon for a long time. (I’m one of the readers who waited ages for the sequels to come out!) So when I tell you I squealed when this was announced and verrrry impatiently awaited it’s release, I’m not kidding. I’m only about a third of the way in, but I do so love Murtagh’s character and I’m intrigued to see where this story goes!
What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished was a buddy read of The Story Peddler by Lindsay Franklin, the first book in her Weaver trilogy.
I very much enjoyed this one! And I’m certainly looking forward to finishing the trilogy. The whole concept of story weaving is intriguing and the worldbuilding is fascinating. I’m particularly looking forward to the next book because of the way this one left off! Full review to come!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I am chomping at the bit to read Morgan Busse’s Winter’s Maiden!
Guys! I don’t think I’ve been more excited for a book this year (other than possibly for The Nightmare Virus). Give me alll the Morgan Busse, Celtic, Nordic, Viking vibes! HAHAHAA! *runs into reading battle with shield and battle axe*

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWWednesday! Let me know what you think below!
Have you read any of the books above? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!
Until next time! Happy reading, friends!
I just started Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. I don’t usually like fantasy, but it’s so wildly popular I wanted to know what everyone is talking about. It pulled me in immediately, and I’m really enjoying it.
I recently finished Tomb Sweeping by Alexandra Chang. It’s a collection of short stories with Asian main characters. I found it very up-and-down, but I really appreciated the Asian perspectives I learned more about.
I’m never quite sure what’s next, but a strong candidate is Normal People by Sally Rooney. Another very popular one that has me curious.
I haven’t figured out the answer to reading during busy seasons. I’m not very good about it. In fact, I’m so not-good about it that I haven’t participated in WWW for several months because there hadn’t been any movement!
Haha! No worries! I think I read all of 2-3 books this month, which is pretty low for me. But that’s okay! We do what we can! But I’m so excited to see your update this month <3
I've heard a lot about Fourth Wing, and while I love fantasy (and dragons! I think there are dragons, right?), I just can't bring myself to read it when a. I have so many other things to read right now and b. I've heard there's not great content that I just think I'll pass on. But I know many people have really enjoyed them, so I hope you do too!
Tomb Sweeping is such an intriguing title. I love how you always find a way to learn from what you're reading. I hope you're well!
