Welcome to our May 2023 WWWednesday!

May was a wild ride! I had a work trip and lots of family celebrations for two of my brothers–one graduated and one had a milestone birthday. I’ve felt pretty stuck in my reading, but I still pressed on and got at least a little done. And I’m ahead on my yearly goals, so that’s a plus.

How has your month been? What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!

What is WWW Wednesday?

WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!

So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!

WWWednesday #47

What are you currently reading?

I just started another epic fantasy, Of Fire and Ash by Gillian Bronte Adams. It won the Realm Award last year so I wanted to read it before Realm Makers this year.

Thoughts: The cover is absolutely epic!! I’m only a few chapters in, but so far I’m intrigued by these elemental horses and the world. I’m curious to see what the plot is going to do, but there are a lot of hard names to keep up with so it’s been a little slow going so far.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished Inkdeath, the conclusion to Cornelia Funke’s Inkworld trilogy!

Thoughts: This one was a bit of a beast to get through. It was a 20 hour audio book, but the narrator was fantastic and the story came to a satisfying conclusion. Stay tuned for the full review here soon!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next, I’d like to read the ARC of The Looking Glass Illusion by Sara Ella, the second book in the Curious Realities duology.

Thoughts: This cover makes me so unbelievably happy! It fits with the first cover so well. I’m super excited to dive into this one and see how Sara concludes the story!

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!

Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!

Until next time!

P.S. Stay tuned tomorrow for another special Writing Update!
