Welcome to the August 2021 WWWednesday!

Hah, wow. It’s been…a month. I can’t believe August flew by so quickly. (At what point will that no longer surprise me?!?) It was a crazy month with more traveling and then events with work for our enrollment period and just…a busy month! I didn’t get very many book reviews posted this month, but I have been doing some reading.

What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!

What is WWW Wednesday?

WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!

So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!

WWWednesday #26

What are you currently reading?

Okay, so I’m kind of miffed about this XD but I’m in the middle of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling. Been reading HP for the first time and right when I get to the climax of the story…the library loan expires *facepalm* So, now I have to wait until I get the book again to finish!!

6

Thoughts: I still think I might have enjoyed the previous book more than this one, but I definitely liked this one more than the first two. The first two just didn’t really impress me. But now I want to know what happens in that maze!

What did you recently finish reading?

In an unsurprising twist of events, I just finished the third audiobook the the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. XD

5

Thoughts: I liked this one much better than the first two. The twist was really cool toward the end and overall, I just enjoyed the story and the characters more. I’m starting to look forward to the rest of the series at this point. I hope the rest don’t disappoint!

What do you think you’ll read next?

You guessed it! My next to-read is hopefully going to be the fifth Harry Potter book, assuming I can get it from my library in a reasonable amount of time. (I’ve already placed the hold, but there are still many, many, many people in front of me.) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J. K. Rowling.

2

Thoughts: Again, I’m just hoping this is worth it in the end XD I’ve heard five is rough and not everyone’s favorite. But the third and so far the forth books have been better reads than the first two, so maybe we’re trending upward! Also, I have a thing for phoenixes so that could be really exciting!

~~~
Wow, so it looks like this was the Harry Potter edition of WWWendesday XD I know there’s countless people who love this series and grew up with it. And there are many who aren’t fans, too. I’d love to know which camp you fall into or what you guys thought when you read the series for the first time!
Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!
Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!
Until next time!
