Welcome to the July 2021 WWWednesday!

Hey, guys!! Man, I really look forward to these posts at the end of the month! I hope y’all like them, too. <3 I’ve been traveling a lot this month (I’m actually still away from home now XD), but I did get a little bit of reading done, too!

What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!

What is WWW Wednesday?

WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!

So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!

WWWednesday #25

What are you currently reading?

For fiction, I’m finishing up an alpha read for a friend of mine, and it’s been a lot of fun to see the draft after helping him plot the story <3 But since I can’t share about that publicly quite yet, I’ll share my current nonfiction read. I’m still working my way through K. M. Weiland’s Creating Character Arcs

Thoughts: I have thoroughly enjoyed this so far! I set it down a few months ago cause things got crazy, but I’m about halfway through, so picking it back up again to try to finish it off! It’s been very helpful and informative. Weiland has the heart of a teacher and makes things so easy to understand. This is such a practical, useful book for writers!

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished the second audiobook the the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Thoughts: I need to update my reviews for this book and the first one, since I read them several years ago for the first time. I’ve never read past this one, so I’ve reread the first two books so I can read through the whole series this time. Honestly, though, I just haven’t loved these so far. I’m hoping I’ll like them more once I finish the series. I’ll never have the childhood nostalgia with these, but I’m hoping it’s at least a good story. It’s been a fun adventure so far, but not really my favorite.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Mm, so I was planning to listen to North! Or be Eaten by Andrew Peterson since my hold at the library came through finally (it had like a 12 week wait!), but since Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban hold came through early (also like a 16 week wait?!), I may actually read that one first since I do have a 9 hour drive home.

Thoughts: I hear the third book is many people’s favorites, and since I haven’t read this one yet, maybe I’ll like it better? I have no idea what it’s about XD

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!

Have you read any of the books above? Are any of you Potter heads? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading? How do you make time for reading in busy seasons? I’d love to hear any tips you can share below!

Until next time!
