Welcome to the August 2020 WWWednesday!

Wow. It’s been another insane month for me, and next month looks to be even crazier! What’s new with you?

What have you read lately? Anything good? Are you looking for something new to read? Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you’re reading this month, too!

What is WWW Wednesday?

WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Here on GraceBought, we’ve been doing these once a month. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!

So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!

WWWednesday #11

What are you currently reading?

I am currently rereading The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis for a book study! Additionally, I’m simultaneously reading Devin Brown’s Inside Narnia: A Guide to Exploring The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

202252

Thoughts: I truly, genuinely adore the LWW. It is near and dear to my heart. And so far, this literary guide has been really fun and is making some really great connections. I’m excited to see what all he touches on!

What did you recently finish reading?

*Snort* So, I’ve been nannying lately…so I’ve been reading a lot of children’s books. (I read Llama Llama Red Pajama for the first time last week. I was pleasantly surprised!) But the last novel I completed was the audiobook of J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan

34268

Thoughts: Honestly, I struggled with this one a little. I think part of that’s just the crazy life season I’m in. The narration was fantastic, one of the best I’ve ever heard. But the story was a little odd, I thought. I’d love to actually read this one vs. listening to it to see if I have clearer thoughts on it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m struggling to read anything much lately. (Transitioning to a new job, commuting nearly 100 miles a day XD looking for a new apartment, etc.) So, I don’t know when I’ll get to move on to a new book, but I’d love to read K. M. Shea’s Beauty and the Beast

Thoughts: This is actually the first book in Shea’s Timeless Fairy Tales. Reading this series was one of my New Year’s Resolutions for the year. With the way 2020’s going, I’m not sure I’ll actually get through them all, but I am hoping to at least start them.

Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!

Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading?

Until next time!
