Okay, so next Wednesday is Christmas (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! AHHH! YAY!!!)! I’m going to go ahead and post this month’s WWWednesday a week early for a few reasons. 

One, the obvious, next week is Christmas! But two, I’d normally post a short story, flash fiction, or other piece of writing today (the third Wednesday of the month.) And I know I’ve been posting some older work for the most part these past few months, but I figured it would be better to post something rather than nothing since I don’t have any new stories to share yet. But I don’t have a Christmas short story to post this month, so I thought WWW would work instead. 🙂

What is WWW Wednesday?

WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

And, like I said, I think I’ll just start with once a month to see how tenable this is. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!

What are you currently reading?

Guys! It’s happening!! I am finally reading Everblaze! I’ve been dying to read this since summer. No joke. But I am finally doing it! (And after a month and a half dry spell, it’s waaayy overdue!)

Thoughts: Clearly, I’ve been trying to get to this one for way too long. Thoughts so far? I’m adoring the cover. I’m knee-deep in the story–as always. Messenger does a good job of writing a story I invest in quickly. She writes page turners! And…I may or may not be starting to crush on Keefe? I think I’m starting to see what the big ship war is actually all about…

What did you recently finish reading?

Just finished up a non-fiction, financial book called Love Your Life, Not Theirs by Rachel Cruze, Dave Ramsey’s daughter. I cracked this one open back in April, then set it down for most of the year for a few different reasons, but determined to finish it before the year ended, so started over and powered through.

Thoughts: Thoughts? In short: Well, I didn’t dislike it. But I prefer Dave’s style. *shrug* I mean, she knows what she’s talking about and she has her own unique lens, but I just relate to Dave more and enjoy his writing better.

What do you think you’ll read next?

What don’t I plan to read next?! Seriously, like, my to-read list is stereotypically long. I’ll say this. I plan to finish Cinderella: The Ultimate Collection and then move on to more Keeper! 😀 (I guess that’s techincally another Currently Reading, but…we’ll go with it. XD)

Thoughts: I’ve been reading this anthology to research for my WIP (for more on that, check out the Know Your Novel Series I did!) and thoroughly enjoying it! I want to finish it up before the year ends, though. Stay tuned! I think I’ll post my review for this one on GB!
