Eep! Okay, here goes!
*in announcer voice* And now it’s time for Silly Songs with La–*ahem* Ah, I mean, WWWednesdays with GraceBought. *whispers* Yeah, totally meant that…*runs*
What is WWW Wednesday?
WWW Wednesday is a book meme originally created by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, simply answer the following questions every Wednesday:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
And, like I said, I think I’ll just start with once a month to see how tenable this is. The idea is for a quick, easy post that keeps you guys in the loop and me involved on a regular basis!
So, without further ado, here is our next WWW Wednesday!
WWWednesday #4
What are you currently reading?
At the moment, I’m between fictional books, but I am working through Just Open the Door by Jen Schmidt, a devotional study guide my church women’s group is going through.
Thoughts: This devotional is all about hospitality, something I’m actually very passionate about, and defining Biblical hospitality. It’s been a neat read so far! I’m enjoying learning new approaches to hospitality and how I can bring that outside of my home.
What did you recently finish reading?
I recently finished an absolutely stellar book by Brittany Fichter, My Little Rock Airman. Fichter is branching out into clean, military romance, and was gracious enough to give me an ARC!
Thoughts: Guys!! I loved this!! It’s no secret I’m Ficther’s biggest fan 😉 but I can honestly say I enjoyed this book much more than I would have initially thought, given the genre. I’m not typically a contemporary romance fan, but Fichter knocked this one out of the park! It just came out last week, so go give it some love!
What do you think you’ll read next?
The plan was to read Shannon Messenger’s KOTLC book three, Everblaze. I still might, but it’s been a little crazy here with road trips, weddings, and colds, so I may put it on the backburner for a beta book I’ve offered to read for a friend.
Thoughts: As stated before, I really do enjoy the KOTLC series and definitely want to catch up on them. It’s also the type of series that would be best read close together, since there is so many parts in the plot and world, etc. There are things I just know I don’t want to forget between books.
~~~
Well, that’s a wrap for this WWW Wednesday! Let me know what you think below!
Have you read any of the books above? What did you think? What books are you currently reading, looking forward to, and what have you recently finished reading?
Until next time!
*dies*
I know! I didn’t get to read it! 😭
